The International Council of Nurses states that the unique function of nurse "is to assist the individuals sick or well, in the performance of those activities contributing to health or its recovery (or to peaceful death) that he would perform unaided of he had the necessary strength, will or knowledge. And to do this is in such a way as to hold gain independence as rapidly as possible"

Duration : 4 Years
Eligibility
(a). Passed the two year Pre-University examination or equivalent
as recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University Health Science subjects,
Viz.. Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
(b). Students of Vocational Courses: 10 +2 Vocational course of
state government of kerala with cognate subject namely Domestic
Nursing and Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects,
vide Notification No.UA/ELY-1/1999-2000 dated 11.08.2004
(c). Obtained at least forty-five percent of the total marks in
science subjects of the qualifying examination; if belonging to
schedule tribe, should have obtained not less than forty percent
of the total marks in science subjects of the qualifying examination.
(d). completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will
complete this age on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
